Scott Irwin, RSPA, CCM

Scott R. Irwin is a seasoned racquets and hospitality executive with over four decades of experience leading high-level tennis and club operations across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. His diverse background includes roles as a tennis director, racquets consultant, collegiate and professional coach, tennis academy founder, and club/pro shop owner. He has served in senior management positions within POAs/HOAs, racquet clubs, country clubs, and resorts—bringing a unique blend of racquets expertise and hospitality leadership to every role.
 
Scott holds numerous professional designations, including the prestigious Certified Club Manager (CCM) through the Club Management Association of America and Master Certified Food Executive (MCFE) through the American Hotel & Lodging Association. He is also certified by the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) in both tennis and pickleball and maintains credentials in ServeSafe, SafeStaff, Certified Pool Operations, and CPR/AED. A life member of the USTA, he has twice been honored as RSPA Club Manager of the Year for the Southeastern U.S., in both 2002 and 2021.
 
A former Division I athlete and international touring professional, Scott competed in ATP and satellite events in 18 countries and served as an assistant coach for the University of Hawaii's men’s and women’s tennis teams. Today, as a partner at Racquets Resources, he consults with clubs, resorts, and associations seeking to enhance programming, boost membership, improve operational performance, and elevate the overall guest experience. Widely respected for his mentorship and strategic insight, Scott continues to shape the next generation of racquets professionals while delivering results-driven solutions tailored to evolving industry trends.
