With over 30 years of experience in the private club industry in a variety of positions including Director of Human Resources, Assistant General Manager to General Manager and for the past 10 years an Award-Winning Club Industry Consultant and Trainer, Joyce Halama, CCM specializes in overall club management.

Skilled in fostering strong relationships with staff, management, memberships, and Boards of Directors, she has led teams to achieve exceptional results transforming the overall hospitality operational experience, growing overall club financial results and food and beverage experiences whether ala carte, catering or club events.

Always forward-thinking, creative and strategically oriented, she brings an unwavering commitment of customer service to her training and consulting work and has a particular interest in helping club managers effectively manage young and upcoming team members and retain recruits. Striving within each program presented to bridge all generations to understand and grow their “exceeding expectations” philosophy for the club.

Throughout her career spanning prestigious clubs and resort properties. Joyce has consistently achieved impressive success. Joyce implements transformative initiatives to improve service levels in food and beverage operations, membership development, and operational efficiencies, consistently exceeding industry benchmarks whether at a full-time career club or when leading interim positions and construction re-openings.
